Barack

So the hurley-burly of the inauguration is over, there is a new president, Barack Obama. Well, all I can say is good luck. Good luck getting the economy righted. Good luck getting Afghanistan sorted. Good luck getting out of Iraq. Good luck not breaking a whole lot of promises. Good luck not disappointing a whole lot of people.

There is no way on this earth that Barack will live up to expectations, as expectations are set sky-high! He is the first mulatto president and a whole lot of things were promised which he has no real power to change. Taxes will have to go up. Cuts will have to be made. Commitments will go by the wayside. It is a fact of life. One year into his mandate (uhhh...man date) the same people that couldn't wait to get rid of Bush will be roasting Barack for not doing what he vowed to do.

Now, I would love to see Barack be a one-man wrecking crew and fix everything in his 4 years but that won't happen. Very little time will be devoted to him actually running the country. In two years there is another election in 2010 with the Senate and he will have to campaign for his fellow Democrats, then right after that they will be gearing up for the 2112 elections where he will have to face off against Hillary again and whoever the Republicans choose. In between all he has to do is reverse 8 years of Bush and his people's mistakes.

Once again Mr., I mean President Obama, good luck!
